The Position

We are seeking a high potential, top performer for the Chief of Staff position reporting directly to the CEO: requiring a professional approach, excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to work on a wide range of tasks and strategic initiatives. The Chief of Staff (COS) is a critically important role, enabling the CEO to work more effectively with internal and external stakeholders. This is not an administrative role - it is a highly strategic and facilitative role that requires a combination of focus and flexibility as well as a willingness to play an active, operational and communicative role. As the CEO’s ‘trusted counsel', the role requires strong emotional intelligence, self-motivation and strong analytical and interpersonal skills. This position is remote.

Key Initiatives, Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

  • Build/run planning/objectives, tracking and scorecards across business function leaders to keep a pulse on the business and track activities and results.
  • Work with finance on milestones: Monthly financial commits and drive needed actions across departments
  • Facilitate and manage the process of identifying, prioritizing, chartering, communicating, and managing key strategic projects.
  • Organize day to day activities with the CEO (Presentations to stakeholders, external and internal audience, prepare for key internal and external meetings)
  • Act as a change agent for business transformation initiatives and tools that further optimize our end to end business execution and performance.
  • Conduct market and financial analysis as needed to support CEO and Strategic projects and business initiatives
  • Tracking key strategic actions and driving them to closure.
  • Support the CEO with ad-hoc projects and key strategic initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree required. MBA a strong plus. This role requires working knowledge in end to end P&L management, product portfolio knowledge, B2B market/competitive analysis and the e-commerce/digital commerce landscape.
  • The individual must be able to deal with ambiguity and should be able to respond quickly to multiple issues and tight deadlines.

Role requirements:

  • 5+ years work experience required within an e-commerce operating environment
  • MBA and/or Corporate Development activity a strong plus
  • Superior organizational skills and project/time management abilities, with ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities at the same time.
  • Ability to navigate Net32 and good relationships spanning product, sales, marketing, finance etc.
  • Leadership skills with ability to inspire others to achieve a common objective
  • Enjoys keeping a fast pace and high energy, and not easily stressed
  • Strong Analytical skills and ability to synthesize large amounts of information from multiple sources to draw conclusions
  • Emotional intelligence, flexible work style, and excellent diplomatic skills across all levels of the organization
  • Excellent communications skills with ability to simplify and explain complex problems to stakeholders of all levels across multiple functions, with a willingness to challenge when necessary
  • Keen business acumen- govern the strategic planning, understand our strategy, assess how well we are executing to it, offer recommendations for improvement
